how to identify spindle year? will hubs interchange?

how do u tell what year 450r spindles are? like 04-05 and 06 and newer? will all 450r hubs swap or are they year specific?

04-05 hubs are different from the rest. Theres a part number on the spindles that will identify what year they are, but I don't remember the number. You would have to do a search. 04-05 spindles are sunk into the knuckle a little bit where 06 spindles are exposed out of the knuckle a little.

hubs will not interchange. you can not use 04-05 hubs on 06+ spindles and vise versa.

06+ spindles i think say hp1g on the inside where the 04/05 say just hp1
