What is the difference??

Anyone know what the difference is between an 88, and 89 water pump shaft????

The 89 shaft only fits the 89 impeller. 85-88 parts are the same. Main difference is the 89 impeller has the nut cast into the part. 85-88 use the steel cap nut and sealing washer to hold the impeller on the shaft. 89 shaft is discontinued, 89 impeller was still available last time I checked.
