i want to remove my choke but its like 50 degrees around here and when i pull mine out of the garage it wont ever start without me using half choke, when its in the garage it sits about a week i only have time to ride on weekends , but what im saying is it wont fire up without me using the choke and i figure if i take the choke off it wont never crank:confused: , should i just wait to do it in the summer when things are warmer and i dont have to use the choke as much?

Part of taking the choke off is installing the new pilot jet. That compensates for not having the choke. Don't take the choke off unless you have the 42 pilot jet.

ya once you install your new pilot jet it will be much easier to start

All you can do is ride it and find out. Experiment with it.

I run my wifes 416 bike without the choke. I have a 45 pilot in the carb it starts great even when it 0 outside just pump the gas 5 or 6 time and it starts right up.:)
