So I know this is neither a Trx250r Motor/frame, nor is it even a honda.. but it's pretty sweet

I have been playing with the idea of making my 426ex into a hybrid if the aircooled 4t motor chits the bed.. Now I've looked at all kinds of motors to do it with. I like the idea of the CR250 like service honda did, but I was looking for something with more power in stock trim. KTM300 motor sounds like it would be a beast..

I can only imagine what the lt230 is like to drive with that power in a small chassis/short wheel base.. he should have a wheelie bar on that thing :eek2:

i agree, the guy did a hack job.. but I wonder what that engine would be like in 250r geometry..

or 400ex geometry for what I'm thinking.. if I were to tackle a project like this now, I'd be on the lookout for a 300 motor..

I think KTM has a 380 too that would be wicked

are the KTM motors counter balanced?
I always heard great things about their 300 2 stroke motor.
