I took my headers off and did the header weld grind. While they was off I took a wire brush on a drill and cleaned up my headers from where the heat turned them a dark color. My question is not 10 mins after I did this they turned right back to a dark color. Not really blue they kinda look plated? Is this normal for stock headers to turn this color. Can some of y'all show me y'alls head pipes stock are aftermarket.
Also will buying a aftermarket head pipe stop this discoloration on the headers from the heat? Il post a pic you might have to zoom in to see them well and see what I'm talking about. Any help on this I would really appreciate cause I hate the way it looks.
