Alright, I'm still somewhat new to these mini quads and I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm building a backup motor for my son and daughter to share....its a 70cc Apex motor that I bought. The Gear Driven seems really tight...like I can barely turn it by hand. Then when I tried to install the main gear 11/31....it just won't fit. I know its not a bearing clearance issue because if I pull 36T Gear Driven out I can insert the main axle with no problem. I was assuming Apex and DRR gears were interchangeable, but maybe I'm wrong? Do I need to order gears from Apex?

You have a 50/70cc Drive Axle (36T)
and a 90cc Main Axle Comp (47/11)
The driven gear (Clutch rides on) for the 50/70 is 13T for the 90 it is 15T
So to run the High Speed 90 gears:
47/11 Main Axle Comp
31T Drive Axle
15T Driven Gear
The 50/70 gear set:
48/12 Main Axle Comp
36T Drive Axle
13T Driven Gear
You CAN NOT mix and match
Do you have a bronze bushing in the transmission tunnel or bearings?
The Apex's were shipping with bushings for the last couple of years and while durable, the bushings had a tendency to tighten up. We always removed and went back to bearings for the power transfer.
