Sure will! It will chip and wear pretty bad, if I had to do over I woulda spent the extra cash and got it powder coated, but yes it will for a while, I can text or email pics of mine to you if you want

Rustoleum works just fine, I used it on all my parts and it holds up really well, you just gotta prep the parts really good and it will hold up good.

Yep sanded it down, primered it, painted it just like it was a car (out of a gun) then cleared it three or four times, well I brought it too school and my buddy takes auto body and I came in everyday and helped/ watched

Been there done that, chips off after sometime.

But really all I did was prep it, spray it with some rustolem primer 2 coats and then 3 coats silver-gray like the stock color. It held up for awhile, like maybe a season.

You can get POR 15 in multiple colors too, and it is just about as hard as powder coating, but you can do it yourself and use it on a lot of other stuff as well. not as cheap as rattle can, but depending on how much you want to do it will be cheaper then power coating a bunch of stuff for sure.

EDIT: also POR 15 likes to adhere to rust, so prep isn't bad either.

I painted mine with automotive paint, out of a gun. I don't race, so its held up for over 3 years and still looks good. It's all in the prep work

If you can I would use a sand blaster and 180 grit sand paper, thats what i used when i painted 90% of my quad with automotive pait no lifting issues at all.
