I copied this from the atvmotocross website. I dont know if you guys know him or his dad but they are some of the nicest people we have ever been around. Clay is doing better after surgery but the rest of his life will be changed, please keep them in your prayers. We dont think of it much until it hits close to home, its just devestating to see it.
Injured Rider Update
ATVMX Racer Clay Pearson was seriously injured last weekend at the Steel City ATV Stampede. Pearson, from Alabama, crashed on Sunday while participating in the School Boy JR class. He suffered a T4 and T5 separation and remains in critical condition at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Clay is scheduled for surgery Thursday to stabilize his back. After the surgery doctors will be able to better evaluate his condition and prognosis.
Please keep Clay and his family in your prayers during this very difficult time.
