alright i am looking at this rapto rear shock (2001) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34286&item=2404007048
is it a good deal or repairable? i am willing to buy, jsut dont know if it is broken....!

Unless you plan on using it for parts, I would wait and save your money til a fully functional shock comes along. My 2 cents.

i need it for a raptor rear shock conversion, in order to do that i just need the shock, junk the spring and use a 400ex spring instaed, jsut need to know if it is capable

You'd think if it was good he'd say so, instead of saying it's for parts only. You can easily spend $300+ fixing and valving a blown rear shock.

I now know what you want the shock for, and by reading what the seller has to say about it, I highly recommend NOT getting it. There is no assurance that this shock will work period. I feel this will be a gamble that the shock works. Heck, even the seller knows it is a gamble, that is why he stated to use the shock for parts and, "AS IS".

Even if you were desperate in needing a rear shock, I would try to steer you away from bidding on it, let alone buying it!
