I currently race Hare Scrambles and I had my 2007 Honda rebuilt to a 426 w / Hot II cam, and a FMF pipe. I hear people talking about the fact that thier machine has been Dyno tested. Is there a benefit to getting my machine Dyno tested????

Biggest benefit is knowing the AFR(tune) is correct.Correct tune allows you to take full advantage of any mods you have had done to the motor. It also allows you to see if those mods worked compared to other quads run on dyno or yours if you mod it and dyno again.A good tune also will give you a motor that will last longer since it has less chance of overheating, detonation, fuel washing down cylinder etc.For me its piece of mind which is worth every penny.

A dyno tune is only as good as the tuner. One jet setting or fuel controller setting that runs like a raped ape on one persons bike may not be the best setting for your bike even with the same mods. Heres an example, 700 Raptor with a rough tune(that felt good riding it around) compared to the same bike properly tuned:

Dyno's are great tuning tools, But people get to caught up in what "Number" it made.
