Houser frame tabs?

Hi I have a houser framed crf450 everytime i take the plastics off i always notice how many unused tabs are on the frame you know the tabs with threaded nuts welded to them. especialy in the front. are these just plastic mounting tabs if so what plastics other then 250r will fit because my front plastics only use 1 set of tabs and are oem fenders from 1988 i believe not 100% sure on year of plastics. heres a pic hopefuly u can see the tabs.

Some of those tabs up front are for rad shroud mounts. With the walsh radiator in it, it does not use these tabs. The walsh radiator uses the walsh shrouds witch attach with dzus fasteners to the radiator itself.

didnt know that learn something new ever day. dzus fasteners was a good idea on walsh's part. they can tak a load of abuse for that they are. Have you heard of any issues with them rattleing out due to the location i have my doubts. the only flaw i coudl see with that is the spring on the back streching and becoming loose.

and no.. ive never had an issue with any of the dzus clips used on my Walsh.. dzus clips and a flip top subframe are lil things all hybrid chassis builders should start doing.. makes things look cleaner and trick..

didnt figure there would be any issues with them considering the locations. whens someone going to start making bead lock rings with dzus tabs on for mud plugs like the dirt track cars? ive thought about fabbing a flip top for my houser frame but ill wait till its done and have a little more equipment to do so.

i had a set of hipers on my old yfz that used dzus tabs for the mudplugs let me see if i can find a pic
