Been reading up and have read some negative info on the BCS one. Seems there are the Fuel atv one, Walsh ( kinda $$$), and KMS. Any other ones? They look like they retain the bearing buy themselves without the extra piece like the KMS one or i might be wrong. THNCS IN ADVANCE. Any one have any expierence with any???

walsh and fuel atv are alum, yosh is steel. on the fuel one you remove pin and insert on bracket. yosh actual replaces the pin, its longer with threads on both ends, its screws in cases and then bracket supports the outside with a lock nut.

Do not buy the BCS kit, as it has been redesigned and can cause case failure if you do not have a kickstart.

KMS addresses the issue very well, look them up on Youtube or go to their site. Kelly explains everything in detail about what happens and how to avoid an issue.

As far as I know, KMS is the least expensive, but with the highest quality.

I created a video with another rider/suzuki tech and it explains how to install the BCS kit. I no longer endorse the BCS kit, and I will be redoing the install video with a KMS in the next few months.

it look like the fuel atv one. Ive put 20-30 fuel atvs ones on. they work good unless it has a kick start on it.

if something is wrong with the shift pin would it make it not want to down shift, but up shift fine? would the relocater fix this?

the issue is the shift pin comes loose, then breaks the case. the upgraded bracket helps this. the pin location doesnt change. what yr is ur bike?

I would check the detent arm,( Locator arm). They bend, normally when bent you get alot of false nuetrals,it jumps into gear when reving in nuetral. the arm is the one with the roller on end of it. I could see that arm causing an easy upshift and hard down shift if bent. They updated this in 08, arm is stronger and a less of an angle. To improve 06-07 tranny is to put 08 shifter and detent assemble.

i am going to pull the side cover this week and see if it has the relocater already in it, was told it did. is the detent arm on the same side?

yes, just below clutch. if it has an alu. relocator plate, its behind it on right. has spring attached to it
