are the cylinder selves pressed in?
Yes, but you cant just simply press old one out and new one in and go though. It needs to have some machine work done.

ok thanks i need to rebuild mine but i dont have the money to send it off to get mechined. do they make a 426 big bore kit with a new cylinder and sleeve installed. or something small like that i dont want a 440 because of the reliability.
Check your local machine shops, if you buy a piston many can bore the cylinder properly for about 100 bucks or less. They generally only make 440 sleeve kits.
Its easy to put a new sleeve in, heat the sucker up and it plops out, cool the new sleeve and it goes right in.

that the problem im having i dont have any local machine shops. i was just wondering if i could do it at home
The new sleeve yea, all you need is a torch or oven.
But as for boring it, nope cant be done. There are many places that will do it, I sent mine to GT Thunder b/c I had the headstuds they sell installed at the same time, think it cost me 50 bucks + shipping, wasnt too expensive and I insured it for 400 bucks as well. I think the stie sponsor C&D racing also bores, as does CT racing and a few others.
