Who here runs long travel suspension, i was thinking of giving it a try. Whats the advantages?

Don't get confused by long travel, you can get just as much travel out of a std travel setup as you can with a long travel however with long travel it uses a longer shock to further help fine tune the suspension adjustments to make it a more plush ride.

I run a Roll LT setup.

It looks like walsh LT +3+1 is a pretty nice set up, alittle expensive at 1500.

1500 is half of what my front end is worth, heck even used I bought mine for 1250. Can't argue with Walsh though they are really nice setup.

Whats a good LT shock to run with the walsh arms?

no complaints with axis as far as shocks go. havent owned walsh aarms just houser.

What lenght should the shocks be ? 19.5"?

Mine are 19.25". For the 400ex I think 19.25 and 19.5 are the two common LT shock lengths.

Remember to get in touch with your shock builder so he can have the shocks valved to your weight,riding style and length of arms.

Ive been in contact with GT thunder, i was looking at the HLS shocks, anyone have experience with these?
