Is that cylinder in the pics the one listed?

If it is, it's not an 88. It's an 85-86.

I traded my dirtbike for the quad several months ago and both the a arms and shocks were on the quad but i do not kno if they were actually set up for those arms or not? I would say no because the kid i got it from didnt kno anything about the R so i assume someone before him had built it? It had some nice parts on it and appeared to be set up up for mx at one point or another but needed some serious TLC so idk for sure?

yes it is the cylinder listed and i thought i was told here that the 88-89 was the newer style cylinder w the single intake window? I wasnt for sure. If not, sorry for the wrong info!

2 cylinders??? I had a 86 style w pro design head if thats what ur seeing?? I deleted that one awhile ago cuz it was sold, and I am only seeing one when i look at it. There should b 8 pics of it. Its the 88-89 style w the single intake window. I would like to get $75 for the cylinder w head but shoot me an offer!!
