Well, I finally got the 02 400 running.. I completely pulled the carb apart and cleaned it up. Put it back and she started right up and ran fine. The jetting before I messed with it were a 42 main pilot jet and a 170 Dynojet (190 equiv Keihin). It was bogging down with no power at the upper RPM range and I figured it was way rich. Today I replaced it with a 142 Dynojet (155 Keihin equiv) and it ran great. I hear all the horror stories about the quad running great when too lean then just blowing up. There was no detonation, backfiring, or anything I could reproduce. It looks like I nailed it first try but it cant be this easy. Any suggestions on what to look for would be great. Thanks.

do a plug chop and see how it looks.
check my sticky for details on the plug chop. I believe it is 3rd or 4th post on there.
