what is the difference between 91 and 87 octane besides price?
is their a noticable difference when used?

Depends on what your using it in, compression and timing also have major influences on whether itll help or not. Running higher octane gas in low compression engines can make them run not as well.

Simply a higher octane rating.

Octane is a measure of a fuel's ability to resist detonation. For example, if you have a lower compression piston, you can get by with lower octane fuel. But if you have a higher overall compression ratio, then you need to run higher octane fuel to prevent detonation.

You "could" run 110 octane in a mild engine setup, but it would be a waste of money and might not run as good as a lower octane fuel. It doesn't go that way for high performance motors though, if you run too low of an octane fuel, you risk severe engine damage from knock.

Yep.87 would be fine too. Its not a high compression engine. Its kinna like a high revving lawn mower engine.
