anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the bog on hard acell from a vm26? runs excellent all other times except when grab second gear and hammer it wide open, it is a 50 engine with a 106 bore kit and head. Has a 190 main jet and 22.5 pilot, needle clip is in center position, air mixture screw is out almost 3 turns. could this meen I need a leaner pilot jet and will this help with bog?

I responded to your email but not sure if you got it. Your main is way too big for that little motor. I'm sure if you pull your plug it'll be pretty black.

I played with the main a little and the leaner Iset it up the worse it ran, I pulled the plug and found it was actually a little on the lean side,I replace the fuel line with a little bigger hose and adjusted the needle clip and dialed it in real good. I also have a 2011 honda 250ex and that 106 is beating it by 2 bikes in 150 feet( thats all I have for now to test on) we run 300 feet at the track. I thought it was going to be rich also but it runs real strong and has not fouled any plugs and seems to be burning right on the plugs.

A 250ex is only around 15/16hp and 100pds more than your Typhoon. HP to weight ratio you should outrun the 250ex hands down. As for your carb if it's lean then you need to go up on your main. Just seems really big for that small of an engine. What head are you running?
