Weird question...

anyone know offhand how hot a 400EX exhaust gets approximately? i know that this can be a loaded question. but just say a stock 400. i wrapped my head pipe in exhaust wrap and I am planning on sealing it with silicone spray sealer for the wrap. it is supposed to protect against 1500 degrees. i am just wondering if it will stay cool enough to touch while it is running after it has warmed up. any ideas?

if its anything like the wrap you put on exhaust manifolds on cars then i wouldnt touch it. it still burns ya.. learned the hard way
