Ok... lately... i check my oil... and it's quite bubbly... little air bubbles... tons of em... should i be worried? i added Seafoam... but i think it was doin this before.. why whould the oil be doing this???

It never did this before... and i don't see it boiling after only lettting it run for a few minutes.... just long enough to check the oil level...

my 440 does this. oil is not hot or boiling.

motul 10-40 I think. Semi synthetic

Is that a atv oil? I ask because motorcycle/atv oil has antifoaming additives to help keep this from happening. The oil running through the transmission is what causes it to foam. The more bubbles there are the less protection for your engine because when those bubbles collaps between two parts there is metal to metal contact.

Rocky Mountain ATV sells it.

Guy I bought my quad from ran it since the 440 build. I've been running it for 5+ years. Motor's still tight with no smoking.

couple common things that make oil foam in 400ex is oil over full and oil filter installed backwards!
