so i cant seem to get the nut off the axle to change my bearings for tyhe life of me so i must not be turning it the right way, my question is if i have the tire off and looking at the nut directly, wich way do i have the turn it? clockwise or counterclockwise? i know its reverse thread but for some reason my brain isnt working right now and cant figure it out. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

clockwise
counter clockwise.
put the wench on and push it down to loosen.
You actually run the nut toward the brake disk to loosen.
wait a minute..you talking hub nut or axle nut.
either way you turn it counter clockwise
