I love Metal!!! music that is. anyway im looking for some new stuff to listen to, so people feel free to post songs and such or just discuss the music.

heres some bands im into. Pantera, lambof god, winds of plague, between the buried and me, mudvayne, cannibal corpse, austrian death machine, as i lay dying, black sabbath.

Ive also started to get into alot of death metal with deep vocals so any suggestions for that.

i dont listen to death metal type stuff anymore but i love metal. parkway drive is about heavy as i like, any heavier than that and i lose interest


i dont know if your a killswitch engage fan, but jesse leach (the original singer before the black guy) and adam d (lead guitar of killswitch) got back together and released an album a few months ago

check out chimaira and Gojira. 2 of my all time favorite bands. Hatebreed is great as well.

ah yes I like Chimaira too, and I love hatebreed dont know why i didnt mention them. I saw them both this summer at Mayhemfest.

I forgot about hardcore, the band Terror is sick.

the last couple kse albums i was really dissapointed with

i liked the old stuff with jesse leach better, so when i seen he made a new band i was like hell ya:macho

It seemed like KSE made changed their sound up a little bit when jesse leach was in the band. Howard Jones sounds great, and The End of Heartache was a great album, but the albums following it sounded exactly the same.

Down is pretty good, Phil Anselmo never gets old... I'm sure you can agree with me.
I mostly live by godsmack, down, pantera, avenged sevenfold, hellyeah, and another animal (godsmack without Erna) for metal.

Definitely check out Between the Buried and Me's new ep that just came out, it's amazing. Also a new band that I recently got into is The Contortionist. They are similar to BTBAM but in my opinion aren't quite as technical. If you're real hard up for new music you could check out my band Arrowmont (http://soundcloud.com/jscottfolk/kevin-roberts-sexy-time-demo) haha. This is just a rough demo that doesn't even have me drumming on it yet(computer drums) but we'll have a more polished version up soon.

BTBAM is awesome, Their album Colors is amazing. Its one of the few albums i could just turn the lights off, lie down and listen to all the way through.

I also like - The Devil Wears Prada, Atreyu, Alessana, Asking Alexandria, As I Lay Dying, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects. ect.

on the more metal side, Deicide, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Nile Ect.

I have been really into The Acacia Strain's Wormwood album. It is so heavy, but it doesn't over do it. I suggest you check it out if you haven't.

If you like really technical stuff, check out Son Of Aurelius, and Animals As Leaders too.
Elitist is also an amazing band that isn't very big yet, they sound a lot like August Burns Red

Good call on Animals As Leaders man! I know most people aren't into instrumental stuff but they are such amazing songwriters. I can't wait until they finish their new album.

Yeah, hatebreed and chimaira were amazing. I didn't stand still once during their sets. I was one end of the pit to the other and back every 30 seconds haha
