WTF is it excactly I heard of them for dirtbikes but how do they work for quads

Exactly, its just designed to hold the front end down to help on the holeshot.

I have only rode one quad with it and it did make a big difference. My buddy has one on his 09 kx250f and its night and day difference, with it locked in it just takes off and wheelies shifting into 3rd with it not locked in it wheelies as soon as you take off in 1st.

idolspeed makes it...i have one on my ltr....works amazing on concrete not as good on dirt.....seat position and throttle position off the gate is very important....

I also have one, ive had it for 2 races and just like you said, on the dirt it works good, better than no holeshot device, but on the concrete it works really well, i dont lean forward, just stay central on the bike and no wheeling at all.

we have them on both my daughters trx450r and we went from a few holeshots to most all the holeshots in our class ........on dirt it works great for us

Sounds pretty interesting anybody have any pics of it installed on the quad because I couldn't find any on there website with it on the bike?

Waste of money for the quad. Works well for bikes as they are pushing much more horsepower at the rear wheel. Most people that use these are magizine readers. If you have a good set of shocks and not stock ones and set it up right then there is no point.

I pulled a holeshot at the every national last year and a few this year, with proper suspension set up, motor, and throttle control.

i love mine being paralyzed i have a difficult time keepin the front end down on starts with this i am able to start like an able bodied rider
