My new exhaust will be in tuesday, and here comes the part ive been dreading. im coming from a 400ex which was super simple to jet bc they arent overly fussy, but the general impression i get is that 450's r a pain. It seems alot of you guys r running this exhaust so im sure i can get a lot of imput. my motor is stock and the carb is stock as well. Im going to be running an HMF competition full exhaust, a uni filter, with the airbox cover on. id like to run the most open end, for max power unless its ridiculously loud. so i need to kno wat i should get for a pilot, main, and how many turns out for the air/fuel screw. and any other tips u guys have will be helpful

sry, its an 06', and yea, id like to keep the airbox lid on, i plan on racing gncc and harescrambles with it, so id like to keep as much water out of my airbox as possible. I live about 15 miles west of worcester right off route 9 in a small town, east brookfield.

I run a pre filter instead of a lid and it gets much more air!! and my actual filter is almost spotless and never had an issue with water except the time i went into 4 feet of water, and did not want to get off the quad and sunk it lol

ya, i can go that route, i usually avoid water the best i can anyways, its harder to go fast when ur soaked and uncomfortable. im pretty sure they actually make prefilter airbox covers too. but anyways, wat r u running for jetting?
