Having some trouble figuring out how to put these Lonestar DC-4 long travels on and I can't find any pictures. Does this look right?

Maybe it's just a weird angle, and maybe it's just me, but the caster angle looks off. It almost looks like it has a NEGATIVE caster angle (the top ball joint is futher forward than the bottom).

Nice diagram Wilkin250r!

Take into consideration what type of riding you are doing, typically you want more positive with higher rates of speed to prevent the twitchiness... More negative for tight steering, technical trails, etc. You could also set it at zero. Just count the exposed threads on both sides to ensure they are set up the same.

With those upper heims, it should be easy to adjust. Check out Walsh's tech center for a great article on front end alignment. If you think taking all this apart to adjust it, you should try re-shimming the cam back in a 450R = TREAT! :grr:

Keep in mind, you need to do this with a rider on the bike when it's on all fours...

First thing, I wanted to be 100% I had the correct arm on the correct side/location.

From the instructions it sounds like I should start with the heim joint threaded all the way. What is a starting point for the ball joints? Threaded all the way in? and what about the tie rods, should I thread them all the way in and then adjust the toe in?

I don't know the DC-4 setup, but it LOOKS correct.

I can't really tell you a starting point, but I CAN give you some insight on how the different settings (camber, caster, toe, ect) will affect your handling, but your instructions should also have that information. It's definitely worth it to spend the time to make sure all your settings are correct.
