timing help

how come i cant get my timing set it always seems to b like a half tooth off. i just put a new timing chain in

is your tensioner in, sometimes that will make it off a bit from pushing the chain a bit.

just a thought,

just went thru that bro. set it where it looks a half a tooth forward that way when your tensioner hits the back side of your chain it will bring it back dead even. i thought the sammme thing

haha so did I. I looked at my older brother and said " Now what the hell are we gonna do ?" But she runs now. the 01 complete overhaul is my thread. just got it running yesterday so i know its ok. Hope you get it running.
