2009 YFZ 450r Velocity intake Trouble

I just installed a Velocity Intake on my quad just the filter and adapter that install in the stock airbox and i ran into some trouble getting around the crankcase breater grommet that sticks out is there any possible way i can eliminate that whole breather box and just put filters on the valve cover breather and crank case breather?

I don't know about getting rid of the breather boxes. I know it's a different set-up but years ago there was a thread where a group tried to run breathers on a Z. 10-15 attempts, angles, this and that and there was no way they would get rid of it. It always spewed oil through the filters.

I would assume this to be similar for the YFZR, but not sure. For $30 you could try it or just unplug them from the breather and try it.
