Hey guys.
I gotta buy new chain and sprokets for my 250r.
What would be the perfect gearing for 20' rear tires? I will
be riding this in the dunes & mx.
Thanks

I know this has probably has been asked 1000 times sorry. But I don't even know what the stock gearing even is, quad didn't come with sprokets.

You should try the search function if you haven't already.
I run 14-39 with 18" rear tires for mx. Which would be similar to a 13- 39 with 20's I believe.
Don't know if that helps at all.

13/39 would probably be the best place to start. If you want to go higher, you can buy a 14T front cheaper than another rear sprocket.

I run 14/40 with 20" SSII and a 330PV with mx porting. Your engine set up and riding style makes a big difference. I used to run 13/41 with my 310. I had to keep it wound up to make good power. I lug my 330 a lot more and then let it stretch its legs with the taller gearing.
