Well... as some of you recall... I've been havin problems with my 400 since i put my 450r carb in... now... i came across somthing today that i did not relize... on the AF screw... i ordered a different one recently... this one has a head for easy adjustments... it came with the screw.. spring, washer and the little o-ring... and when i took the stock one out it DID NOT have the spring... i did not notice this before... did not think it had a spring.. never thought of it... and i'm sure i don't have to ask... but can the missing spring cause problems???
