What kind of locknut seems to work the best? I have a Lonestar locknut on mine right now, and for some reason it comes loose after each moto. That isn't that big of a deal for MX, but I need it to stay tight for 1.5 hour harescrambles as well. Can't stop every 15 minutes to re-tighten it. Please let me know what your using, and if it works better than this one. And before anyone asks, yes I have tried wrapping tape around it. It still loosens up.

You could try out our locknut if you like. We have found that the threads inside the stock locknuts are so fine, that they will get worn out, and cause your locknut to come loose. I am not sure what other companies use, but we run a heat treated chromoly locknut, so that those fine threads will not wear out. Let me know if you are interested.

don't use aluminum locknuts, i've always just used oem locknuts and made sure the set screws are tight. no backing off issue that i can recall
