just got 440 kit together what type oil cooler do i use

i just bought a 350 turbo trans cooler i am goin to try to make it work but need some advice on hookin it up

Look at the top of the board "Popular 400ex thread links" There is quite a bit of information there on oil cooler setups. The links helped me setup my extra large oil cooler.

you dont "need" a bigger oil cooler, I like the trans oil coolers though, there is a in depth install thread on it at the top of the page in the stickys.

Ive had a 440 for 6 years with a stock oil cooler with no heat issues, I would like to install my trans oil cooler though.

Make sure you jett that thing pretty big, start with a 190 main jet and if it doesnt stutter from being to rich keep going up on jet size in incriments of 5 till it does sputter, then back off about 5 jet sizes.
