I had one of those about 5-6 years ago, and she ran Fantastic!! Unfortunately, when I sold that R, the Hyperdyne cylinder went with it... I'd also be curious to know if anyone is running that cylinder....

And while we're at it, who's Paul Tuner and how did Loren Duncan get his stuff?

I also have a hyperdyne 275cc I wanted to make sure it was in good shape so I sent it off to duncan. He called me two months later and said these cylinders were not impregnated when they were casted and have a hard time holding pressure during a leak down test. He gave me a quote of something like 700 bucks to get her going again.

I had one of the first nikisil plated ones back in 95. The very first ones were cast iron sleeves, after that plated aluminum. They came in 3 or 4 port exhaust. Mine cracked around the intake and transfer port. This created an air leak that was very hard to detect. This was the first R motor I had that could kick a cr 250's arse.
