I came across an odd combo ive never heard of or ever seen before. Is a narrow, cr500 link but instead of 2 top frame rails there is 1 down the middle like an lt500. Whats a roller like this worth? Its 100% laeger and it has t pin too

Is it for a LT motor or TRX?

$3k for a roller...gotta start somewhere. :D

Its for the trx motor the frame has a back bone instead of 2 top frame rails.

Snap some pictures and email them to Mark. Based on coversations I've had with him - all Laeger frames basically came off the same jig, so don't know why a major support rail would be different...

Email me if you need contact information.

Did you take any pictures of the roller?

Dan

The one I posted was being sold by Jack Saulnier, he's the original owner. This bike was featured in a test in DW back in Sept 94. I have the article and went back and read it, and at that time it had an LT500 motor in it, and 1 of 3 built. Along the way it was converted to a 250r motor. I talked to him a few times about it...

One more question I have, what a arms and swing arm is used? Trx or lt?Troy does it say in the article?

Pretty sure that's all TRX stuff... I'll try and find that article again and let you know.

I had a Laeger LT250. It was all 250R geometry with pro trax front & no link rear. The a arms & stem were the same as 250R and would interchange. The swingarm was made specifically for the LT motor though. The JP LT250 I had was also 250R geometry, but it used more Suzuki parts than the Laeger did. 800screws knows all about the JP's

I also had a Lonestar Outlaw Banshee with all 250R geometry. It actually used all 250R components, while I was told the Laeger outlaw style Banshee was setup with 250R geometry, but still used several Banshee components.

My point is, make sure if you buy one of these old chassis's, try to find out exactly whats what to save yourself some headaches. Those unique old bikes are cool though!
