Ok...just like the ad says...I have owned this bike since 2002....the last 4 years my wife has ridden this bike exclusively and it hasn't been anywhere but the dunes.
I want to sell every single nut and bolt but I would like to sell the aftermarket stuff first. it weighs around 85 lbs...
So you'll need to price 85 lbs plus some type of crate that I will have to make to send it in....i would just do your math for 100 lbs. I am going to need your zip code for any type of shipping estimate

That is nuts on the price I just shipped a 525 motor via UPS across country 1500 insurance 130.00, buy a ice chest, 4" high density foam to stuff around whole and your good to go, you will sale it much faster than that 275.00 shipping ""deal""

I beleave I said 130.00 and you could do it even cheaper via grey hound.....
Buy a ice chest bigger than your motor and most craft stores sell high density foam, basically put a layer on bottom place motor in , then layer sides and top, use ratchet straps to seal and place in box, UPS is what I use because I trust them but I know for a fact greyhound is even cheaper.

Was wondering about that powder coated black frame. I got a 2002 400 ex . I would like to have the black fram because the sock frame is rusted. Not sure how to tackle re-biulding. my cell is 516 650 2393 I also need tech 3 10" and 9"

Glad some of you guys were pleased.i just won a paypal claim against this joker for sending me an edelbrock carb full of sand with two huge gouges in the intake side from the worm clamps being severly incorrect when they were installed................TWICE. He did mention the sand tho...............two days after it shipped he said he didnt get a chance to clean it so there was some sand on it??????By on it he must have meant on everything inside and out. BEWARE.

This claim has already been resolved through PAYPAL and a full refund will be issued since you were not pleased with the part. I have sold parts from this bike to several other board members and have not had an issue with any of the other sales.
Sorry that you weren't pleased with the carb, it's implied that as a member of a forum such as EX RIDERS.COM that YOU yourself are capable of tweaking and tinkering and fixing your QUAD and making it better yourself....I guess that's not the case with this guy...he couldn't tear down an 11 year old carb, clean it, get it up to his standard before installing it on his quad....I bet he probably thought it would be jetted to his elevation and motor too...probably would have complained and asked for a refund if it didn't run right on the first start up with the jetting set up I had.....some people will never be happy.

patronize me if you wish but no where no how did you attempt to inform me of any of the issues with it until after it was shipped and to this day still haven't spoke of the intake being totally butchered.that stuff may work in kentucky,or wherever you're originally from cuz it certainly isn't san diego unless you live in the redneck ghetto area,but its not working here.

Anyone else would have cleaned that carb up....slapped it on the bike and dialed it in for a great HP gain and improved performance. NONE and i mean NONE of the issues you have with the carb will or ever did effect it's performance. I have owned this bike since 2001 and have done EVERY SINGLE modification myself over the course of 10 years...you purchased an expensive aftermarket carb for $100 bucks.....get a clue man it's 10 years old....there are tons of things that happen to bikes and what not over a 10 year period....we never discussed the condition of the carb, there were no pictures exchanged and there certainly was not a FALSE discription of the carb in any way shape or form. You either LACK the knowledge and mechanical skills to make a smoking deal on a great carb work or you are just a complainer that cannot realize the great deal he got and wants to complain about something being dirty and having some marks from clamps.....really that is what you are complaining about....get real buddy....you had a great deal...and you certainly wouldn't have called me asking me to "walk you through taking the carb apart" if you had the slightest bit of appreciation for a smokin good deal on a 10 year old carb....quicksilver carbs are probably the easiest carb on the planet to work on and maintain...sorry you couldn't figure it out and set your bike up for success....keep on running that stocker and leave the modifications to the big boys with cool tools in tool boxes and knowledge to maintain there own bikes.....or maybe you could get yourself a book on the subject.
