The wife and I hit an estate auction tonight. I havent even gone through stuff but holy cow!
1st, I did not buy anything with the purpose of selling for profit, mainly because I knew the lady who had the estate and felt sort of weird even being there.
So far....
2 huge 12 foot by 3 foot wooden work benches....one has drawers, one has a stand along cubby the same length. The tops are finished....a guess, easily resell for $300+ each but ive needed these since forever so they have a good home.
Full pack of shingles
20 cinderblocks
15 or so bricks
A Reel push mower (Old style but newer so its nice)
2 like new pull out couches (3 cushion, Serta never used)
1 amazing blue and white wash basin and pitcher
2 boxes of picture frames, 1 has yielded several black and white images from the 1900's
1 box contained a signed letter from Bill Clinton on W.H. letterhead
1 picture in a photo album has all 4 main stars signatures from Bonaza (Old TV Show)
1 Pope John Paul II commerative coin with all documantation
1 concrete sink
100 pounds or so of garden products (fertilizer, potting soil etc)
Various clay planters
1 Sickle
60 pounds or so of scrap aluminum
100 pounds or so of scrap steel
Several thousand nuts and bolts in individual packaging
Misc Boards
There is more, I just did not see it all as it was getting dark as we loaded and hauled.
Anyone want to geuss what we paid?
