You guys that are running the 13" Elka shocks on the front how do you have them set up? Put my sons together the other day, and when its sitting on the stand the steering was real tight. Put it on the ground and it loosend up. I adjusted the the upper a- arms (moving the rear part of the a arm out there for moving the a-arm forward so the resevoirs on the shocks would have clearence on the upper a arm.) This helped with the tightnes but it still is a little tight when you turn the handlebars to the right. The steering when the wheels are on the ground is actually better now than with stock shocks.
I think i have an idea that the tie rod ends may be binding a little. If I adjust a arms out it may help with decrease the angle the tie rods are in but what does adjusting the a arms out and the hiems out do for durability?
