Nned Help Quick, Axle Related

I am trying to replace the carrier/axle bearings in my 400ex but I can't get the axle off because of the big nut on the axle. I loosened the smaller one but the big one will not budge. I put the quad in gear and had someone hold the brakes and it still will not turn. Also tryed wd40 on it and heating the nut to no avail. Any suggestions? And yes I am trying to screw it inwards towards the carrier.

I believe it has a metal ring around the axle and u have to screw the bolt inward towards the rotor take the metal ring out and u should be good to go.

You removed the c-clip on the axle right? You turn the nut till you can access it, remove it and the nut comes right off.

use a cutoff wheel to cut a slot down the length of it then order a new axle nut from Rocky Mountain.
