Any of you guys order from the company that sells skid plates on ebay that are 3/16" thick verses a 1/4" thick? i just ordered one figuring its only a sixteenth of an inch im sure it will be cool.... they seem pretty nice work wise, the welds are nice and sharp and it comes polished to boot! of course its not gonna stay like that but hey it looks perty for a day... So any one have any experience? give me the low down.

thanks

personally, I would never use a 3/16 on the swinger.
The difference in price for a 1/4 plate vs. a 3/16 plate, is cheaper than a bent rotor, or sprocket, or tossed chain resulting in a cracked case, etc.

3/16 is fine for the belly skid, in my opinion, just not for the swinger.

Just my .02 cents

My friends bought 3/16 swingarm skids, 1 trip to hatfield mccoy and they were bent so had on the 2nd day he had to figure out a creative way to bend them back.

I run a 1/4" thick proarmor one myself, its never bent ever.
