Looking at getting +3. Wanting some opinions. I am running a 4 - 1 wheels. I do some mx and woods riding. The ones I'm looking at are +3 +1. I know If I'm right that will put me as wide as a 450stock? Just wondering if anybody running any and if u like them? And if u are could u post some of your pics thanks. One last thing does brand really matter?
There is no way a 450R is 50 inches wide, a stock EX frontend is 45.3 or so inches. My buddies 06 450R fits easily on a 4x8 trailer with plenty of room to spare, so there is no way its over 48 inches wide. Stock its about 46 inches, its also measured with you sitting on the quad.
+3 means +3 to both sides, so 6 inches wider, unless your trails are super wide that means a 51 inch approx frontend and with 4+1 you get about 49-50 inches overall-still to wide for most woods imho Id sooner do +1 really or if you want wider +2 if your gonna ride the woods.
+2 would be a good choice due to your 4+1 wheels, that would give you 4 inches wider and with 4+1's 3 inches-so around 48 inches which should fit in the woods and be excellent on the track.
