Hey guys i'm replaceing my stock a arms with lonestar plus 2's , and i'm at a stand still.I got one side ball joint out of the knuckle but the other side is stuck, i've tryed beating on it with a hammer and it diden't budge it's been sitting in wd-40 for 4 days and still wont budge. Any advise would be great!

The easiest way is to use socket method. It will save your spindles from getting beat up as well.

used the hammer method last week,wish i would've seen this before i di. that. no harm done except some sore fingers and bloody knuckles but the socket method is clearly the cheap/easy way to go.

Pickle fork will tear the boot most of the time.

I'm not into pickles but thx anyway........you could try elton john or mayb freddie mercury.i think they're pickin up what ur puttin down.

Tryed the useing the pickle fork with no luck.... I'm not too worryed about the old boot or threads on the ball joint i just want the knuckle in good condition.

Use the socket method, it's the best/easiest way by far. No damage to the boots, threads, or knuckle.

Believe me, i've been in your shoes before the first time I swapped a set of A-arms. Thanks to this site, you learn handy tricks along the way that work rather well...this is one of them :)

Ok i'll give the socket method a try, thanks for the help guys !
