Starting my build, and when installing my a-arms, something looks off. These are supposed to be+2 +1 Laegers. The caster angle looks way far forward. The little tab on the upper arm is for the brake line clamp, so it should face to the rear, correct? And are the bottom arms on correct, the shock mounts up fine. This is my first R build, and I didn't pay any attention to this area when I tore down my parts bike. Thanks guys

Build thread coming soon!

try moving the bottom a arm to the other side. It may be the top one that needs switched but that looks correct for +1 forward.

My vote is moving the bottom to the other side and they are NOT +1 forward but std position.

Hmm, well, the shocks line up correctly when I slide them in, and I did some searches on this site for Laegers arms, and from some of the pics, the bottoms are correct. If you look at placement of the shock bracket on the lower arm, it is offset, and that matches the pics i've found so far. The shock bracket should be forward like that. Ill pull them off and compare the lowers.

They look correctly installed to me, I have the same arms mounted up on mine.

I agree, try swapping the lower a-arm, upper arm is installed correctly. Can you also take a picture showing how the arms line up with the upper shock mount (just try to keep the hawkeye shorts out of the pic ;) )

My guess is the bottom shock mount tabs on the lower a-arm must be to the back of the arm, being the ARMS are +1 FOREWARD!The non +1 foreward shock mounts are closer to center of the arm!Switch the bottoms and post a pic!!!

I'll try that, but as it sits now, the shocks slide in and install perfectly. when you swap sides, you have to pull the bottom of the shock back, binding the shock bushings.

I don't know how someone would screw that up, but it's possible your top arm is too short.

Thats exactly how my arms long right now. Just seems like a real odd caster angle though. maybe it just looks wierd with the quad just sittin on a crate while im building it.

It almost looks like the top arm is a +1 forward and the bottom arm is standard. The caster angle is definitely different from 250Renvy's. Where did you get the arms from?

You can CLEARLY see that 250renvys lower arm tabs are towards the BACK pushing the arm +1 foreward!

Now that im looking at Envy's pics, my arms seem to be right, ill get a pic of the left side, and you guys can compare it to the 3rd pic in Envys post. I bought the arms from trevor @ tlronline about a year ago. Im gonna bring home a big framing square from work tonight and get a better idea of the caster. I just went and got a steel plate thats laser cut, and the holes for the balljoints seem to be pretty much straight up n down. But I would think you would want the top leaning pack a little.(can't remember if thats pos or neg caster)

I tried to take the same anle pics as 250renvy posted.

Nevermind the messy room, having to slap the rolling chassis together in the old living room before I gut it for remodeling, garage is full of crap going in the house, kinda sucks.

I still think you have them on right, mine look the same way. They look off because they are hanging down.
