2002 400ex light problems

so i bought a 2002 400ex and my back light works when i turn the lights on, but when i press the brakes the back light wont go on. is there supposed to be a wire going from the brake to the light or how does it work.(my bike does have hydraulic brake).


my front left headlight worked good until i hit a bump. the high beam still works on the right light but the left 1 wont turn on. the bulb is not bad and i checked all the wires, any suggestions?

Mine is the same, no brake light .....its just a maker light. hope that helps

CHECK THE WIRES UNDER THE PLASTICS.

The tail light is just a running light like said above. as far as the headlight, are you sure that one of the filaments in the bulb isnt bad? Try swapping the bulbs to the opposite sides and see if it is still out or its a wiring problem. I think there is a how to if you wanted to add a brake light set up to the machine.
