300 or not

I was wonderin if anyone has ever tried to put a bigger motor in a 300ex frame. I was just wonderin.but I've heard people have put 350x,cr125,cr250,400ex,crf,and 250r motors in them and i saw a pic in dirtwheels of a 300ex with a xr600 or maybe a 650,but if you have tried something like that show a pic and tell everyone how you mounted it. thanks

and in the dirtwheels that was a xr600 engine a custom 400ex frame and 300ex plastic

I wouldnt really want to do that, just buy a bigger machine. Youll spend more money tryin to beef up a 300 than you would a whole new 4 wheeler.:rolleyes:

are you talking about DW project 600ex or the guy that did a xr600 or something to his son's 300?? i can';t find that article on where the dad did a engine swap and it fit?? which mag?? what month. its in DW i know that
