I know if you have a heavier flywheel you will have more torque, and a lighter will rev quicker,

but will a lighter piston affect torque in the same way?or does it have the reverse affect?
meaning will a lighter piston will have more torque or less???

my thinking is that the lighter piston will almost be like adding a heavier flywheel, am I thinking about this wrong?

it would seem to me like a heavier flywheel.
-a heavy flywheel doesnt rev as quick because it is more weight to move.
-a heavy piston is more weight to move.so it takes more time and energy to get it to move. and it is more weight for the flywheel to move through the strokes so i dont see a performance gain anywhere from a heavy piston

basically the best of both,

but im not feeling that with my lighter piston, it actually feels like i lost some torque.
