400 to 450r shock switch ?

Is there any mod to do for an 05 400ex to receive a 05 450r shock?

I did them on mine. The only mod I had to do was to grind down the top of the 450R front shock at an angle to get it to clear the nut that's welded to the frame on the top shock mount that's there for the plastic. For some reason they didn't do this on the '99-'04 models, but changed it on us '05 and up guys. My friend did this in his '02 and had to do nothing, but I had to do alittle grinding. I'll snap some pics to show you what I mean if you need some guidance, that is, if you're still wanting to know how, after 2 months.
