Lol just because it has 450 plastics does not mean it's a 450, it's actually a 400ex with 450 plastics. I thought you'd notice the motor looks entirely different than a 450 :D

lol i guess i missed that. I didnt look at the engine, just all of the red to go with the 450r sticker on it.

i have never seen a picture of it though.

The 450 is too expensive for me, plus I heard way too much positive things about the 400ex to get rid of it, I just don't like the plastics of the 400ex. I also love the gearing of the 400, it's not like my old yfz where you're doin 50mph in first gear, you can lug 400ex in like 2nd gear at like 10mph, which is awesome...

i suppose you have a point. gotta love the hundy, theres a reason we are diehards over here. :D anything is better than that thingymabob you call a yfz though. glad to see you finally figured out the right path, even if it did include blue inbetween. some peeps just learn slower than others :p
lol hahahahahahahahaha

sorry just had to give you a bit of grief for even thinking of bringing that name in here. that is a swear word in these parts.

You can fit the newer EX plastics (05+) onto an older frame, all the mounting points are the same except for the headlight where you will have to fab a tab to mount it (or find the piece off a wrecked one) its rather easy iirc and people did some writeups about it.

Me, I prefer the old plastics b/c of where the headlight mounts-shines way better.

I thought about doing that, but I couldn't find decent 05+ plastics anywhere, they were all overpriced...
