i have a "bolt on cyclinder" *440*.........wont fit in cases, wat is the size of sleeve milled to; to fit betweeen the cases??

im tryin to get the machine work done with outt havin to tear my motor down yet.........or i could jus break it down and messure it myself........figured someone had one layin round somewhere ...............lol

Hey. I had that same exact problem but I promise if you just play around with it you will get it to fit in. It is the same size as stock. I took a rubber mallet and just tapped it lightly. It will go it is just very frustrating

use a die grinder with sandpaper rolls and clearance the crankcase bore.

You need to heat the cylinder housing up in the oven while at the same time cooling the cylinder inside the freezer for a good hour before. After about 20 mins on 350F take the housing out of the oven and the chilled cylinder out of the freezer and it will go right in.

You just expanded the housing while contracting the cylinder. It will fit.
