hello honda land! what`d you guys do with the two wires coming off the OEM perch? are those the wires that keep you from starting in gear? if so I can just connect them and hide it right? Thank you

Right. Its actually pretty handy sometimes, but can be dangerous too if your in like 3rd and accidently fire it up while your not on the quad. Hope u can run lol j/k

Most people tie the wires together and put some tape around them. The wires are useless with an aftermarket clutch perch.

as stated connect them together. I used d a 5 amp fuse since i wont cut any wires on my harness just in case i want to put it back on one day.

now if THAT one doesn't work,
just go onto Ebay, and in the search box type,
Clutch perch switch

That should give you about 100 hits of perch's with levers and a safety switch.

I do have one of these perches, but have never installed it yet. too lazy I guess, and I do like being able to start my bike without having to pull in the clutch lever.

BUT !,... You must realize, when the wires on your existing setup are connected together, (as mine currently are),...
and you are standing next to the bike,...
and it is not in neutral,...
and you hit the starter,....

It IS going to take-off without you.

As a result of that, and since I usually have young kids playing around in my camp,..

I must ALWAYS remove the key when I get off of my bike.

My son is 11 years old, and knows how to ride.
He has Down Syndrome,
He rides his own quad (a CVT tranny 90),
He watches "Daddy" and knows where the shifter is,....
and of course, thinks he's ready for the Big Leagues.

He climbs up on my 400 all the time, and says "Dad,... Me Ride ?".
(me)-"YEAH RIGHT little buddy !" LOL!

The last thing I need, is for him to climb aboard mine, hit the button, and be doing 0 to 60 in 5 seconds !

He still hasn't quite mastered the concept of BRAKES !

:D
