I just got a +1.25 lonestar swingarm for my 400ex, sprocket size is going to be a 14/38.

Can someone tell me what size chain to order? I know stock is 94 but I figure i need a longer one for the extended swingarm.

Most chains come in 110 links and you can cut them down to size. At least thats what I did.

If I had to guess your gonna need probably 100 links or so. Just put it on and size it up. being to long is better than being to short.

Personally Id buy one with as many links as you can and just cut it down. If you dont have a chain breaker you can use a dremel or angle grinder if your careful. RMATV sells some nice chains (I prefer did X ring) and a good c hain breaker for cheap.

I just looked at my receipt and I run a 94 link with my swinger.

The chain will stretch alittle, just something to remember.

FWIW, I run a 96 link with my +1.5" swingarm. I run big sprockets though (16/40) so I need the extra length.

With 14/38 gearing I would run the 94 link with your +1.25" like Honda#4 said. It's better to run a shorter chain anyway so that you have a range of adjustment as the chain stretches and wears.
