Does anyone else get extremely pissed off with all the coverage and peoples reactions to all of this? I just got off the phone with my girlfriend and she said her mom is waking her up at 4am to watch the wedding...... What is people's obsession with this? There are SOOOOO many other important things going on in the world and within our country, but yet people are worried about two people getting married from the UK??? WTF!

It just really makes me angry and i really pissed my girlfriend off when I told her I couldn't believe she was going watch it.

250 people were killed within these horrible tornadoes that ripped through our country this week, but yet I guarantee these people turn the news off when they see this on TV.

Sorry. Just had to vent.

i agree man, i could care less about it. not even interesting in the slightest bit.. its like that post made a few weeks ago about the veteran passing and people care more about lady gaga.

Thats what I am saying. The English Parliament has not been its true self in such a long time. The terms Prince and Queen have no value any more. People need to get over it. It sickens me how people care about this garbage.

Also, about the quad, its time for it to go. I dont ride any more and a bike is much more practical for me to get my riding fix taken car of.

you young guys are missing the point. the royal family serves a big purpose. personally, I'd rather jab a fork in my eye before I watch the wedding, but I have learned a few things in my years. just watch 5 minutes, enough to say you "saw some of it" and then....

The reason why its so popular is because the news is FILLED TO THE TOP with negative stories and things that worry people. This is a real time love story and people are hungry for something positive right now in our time of negativity. I know that i got up and watched it with my two little sisters, since i was home for the weekend. I am the kind of person who would be freaking about something like this taking all the coverage, but i was relieved to see something positive being reported on.

I think the big fuss is that they are going to be the next King and Queen ... and according to them , they want to change the face of the monarchy. They realize that the Royals don't hold the strong standing that they once did.. These are two down to earth people that do not think any more highly of themselves than the average citizen. She's just a normal girl from an average working class family.
